Using the Mouse¶
In Gemini Terrain, the mouse is an essential tool for navigation and interaction. Besides using the mouse as a pointing device to select elements on the screen, several useful functions are assigned to the three mouse buttons. This makes using the program's features more efficient.

Zoom and panning
Enlarging or reducing the screen view is referred to as zooming. Moving the content on the screen while maintaining the same size is referred to as panning.
Middle Mouse Button¶
Individual options for zoom and panning can be selected via menu and toolbar buttons, but to make work more efficient, several important functions are also assigned to the middle mouse button (scroll wheel).
Navigation during active commands
Using the middle mouse button allows you to manipulate the screen view even when a command is active and expecting user input either via a dialog box or by marking a position.
