Calculation Procedure

Calculations and analysis functions are accessed from the Surveying toolset.

Analysis calculations, gross error detection, internal and external reliability, and control against standards are also found here. Any analysis is run before calculation.

Adjustment and Detail Calculation

Procedure

  1. When we import from field book or make changes to project data (for points and observations), the program automatically starts a pre-calculation process to obtain known or preliminary coordinates for all points.

  2. When the points are found in the application layer, we can create a calculation selection. We do this with the standard function for marking points in the application layer.

  3. After the calculation selection is made, we choose the calculation function on the toolset.

  4. For adjustment, we can select calculation type, that is Horizontal, Height, or 3D (horizontal + height).

  5. The calculation result can be studied in the list windows Points and Observations (conventional, satellite, levelling) after calculation. Adjustment also has a Summary available in the properties list.

  6. If we want a calculation report, we can use the report function on the toolset.

  7. The new coordinates must be saved separately when you are satisfied (Approve Points).
