Sight Analysis

Introduction

Gemini Terrain has a dedicated module for sight analysis among other things. The function for sight analysis is found in the toolset for planning, design, and execution:

Sight Analysis

Sight analysis during road design ensures necessary visibility along the designed road. It takes into account both the SFI model and the terrain, including tunnels.

The function displays sight lines in both plan and 3D views:

Sight lines shown in 2D view

Sight lines shown in 3D view

Sight analysis automatically adapts to the selected road class.
