Export

Export Triangle Models

You can export all layers in the building excavation to surveying instruments or machine control.

The following formats are available:

  • LandXML
  • Leica DBX database
  • Trimble TTM

Procedure

  1. Double-click on the excavation to open the properties dialog
  2. Activate the Layers tab
  3. Select the layer you want to export, for example Surface
  4. Right-click and select Export layer...
  5. Select the desired format and click Export

Export Lines to Clipboard

You can also export the lines in an excavation to the clipboard. Then you can paste them into an application layer or in Gemini Survey.

Procedure

  1. Select the building excavation on screen
  2. Select Copy geometry from QE to clipboard on the toolbar
  3. Select Building excavations
  4. Check Copy lines with elevation and click OK
  5. Select the layer where the data should be pasted
  6. Right-click and select Paste objects
  7. Click OK in the message that appears

Export Excavation to 3D DWG

You can export the excavation to 3D DWG, for example to Vianova's coordination model. The different elements in the excavation will then be placed on separate layers.

Procedure

  1. Switch to 3D view
  2. Turn off display of everything except the building excavation
  3. Select File - Export - Export to dxf/dwg
  4. Accept the suggestion or enter a filename and click Save
