Plan Maps and Legends

For zoning plans, we can use standard sheets for plan drawings. These have space for map sections and legends.

For example, A2 with space for legend can be used for plan drawings

There is an alternative to the automatic function for legends.

Alternative Solution

If we want full control over the design, we can construct the legend in an application layer.

We have created several templates located in the Sys folder. This can serve as a starting point for customization.

The templates are named:

  • Rp45_Tegnforklaring
  • Rp45_Tegnforklaring_liten
  • Rp43_Tegnforklaring
  • Rp_Tegnforklaring
  • Rb_Tegnforklaring
  • Rb_Tegnforklaring_liten

Procedure

  1. Enter the desired drawing number in the drawing list and click Add...
  2. Enter description, for example Zoning plan legend, and click OK
  3. Select the drawing and click Open. Select model type Terrain model
  4. Right-click in the application layer list and select Create...
  5. Click the button with three dots and select the template Rp45_tegnforklaring.aly in the Sys folder
  6. Optionally change the layer name and click OK
  7. Click OK in the application layer properties dialog
  8. Adapt the legend to the plan's content
  9. Create CFI file (File - Export - Export CFI file)
  10. Insert CFI file on presentation drawing
