When we open projects with analyses from earlier versions, we can have problems with the drawing of polygons with holes. As the polygons lie in the application layer, we have no control over the order of the sub-polygons. Which sub-polygons are plots with positive area, and which are holes?

The solution is to clean up the data so that the islands are sorted behind the polygons they belong to. This is done automatically when we run analyses in version 7 and newer. For application layers from earlier versions, we must clean up the data manually.

Use the function Tools - Arrange circulation direction for polygons. We find this function on the right mouse button in the horizontal list field for polygons.
