Custom Sheets

The dialogs for inserting longitudinal profile sheets, cross-section sheets, or plan sheets in Gemini Terrain contain lists of predefined sheets. If you need customized sheets, you can create them using the general drawing program GDP.

To make your own sheets (figures) available in the program's lists, you must:

  1. Save them in the User folder of the program
  2. Register them in the corresponding configuration file

This will make your custom sheets available in the lists along with the predefined sheets.

How to add custom sheets

  1. Copy the following text files from the Sys folder to the User folder:

  2. CrossSectionsSheet.txt (contains list of predefined sheets for cross sections)

  3. LongSectionSheet.txt (contains list of predefined sheets for longitudinal profiles)
  4. PresentationSheet.txt (contains list of predefined sheets for plan drawings)

  5. ManualSheet.txt (contains list of predefined standard sheets)

  6. Open the relevant text file in the User folder, for example in Notepad.

  7. Delete all the predefined sheets in the file. This is necessary because the program merges the contents of the files from both the Sys and User folders. By deleting the predefined sheets, you avoid having them displayed twice in the lists.

  8. Then add your custom sheets (figures) to the text file using the same format.

  9. Save the file.

The next time you start Gemini Terrain, your custom sheets will appear in the relevant lists along with the predefined sheets.
