Some tips on how Gemini Connected utilizes Trimble's Trimble Connect API:

  • Files uploaded from Gemini Terrain will be available under Sync, then a folder with the name of the Gemini Terrain project, and finally a folder with the same name as the Domain for the selected export rule.

  • For Road, several different files are exported:

  • LandXML Breaklines and Trianglenets
  • LandXML 3D lines
  • .dxf
  • Trimble RXL

  • Trimble TXL

  • For Excavation, LandXML breaklines and Trianglenets are exported that support points, lines, and triangle nets.

Note

Trimble Connect does not support as-built import to Gemini Terrain.
