Gemini SiteFlow Export Rules

Export Rules

Export rules are used to automate export routines that are performed frequently. You can find the settings by selecting Project Administration on the left side and then Export rules for machine control. Separate rules are set up for SFIs, excavations, and so on.

Domain

This option allows you to place files in a specific subfolder with the machine control provider.

Rule name

Optional name for the rule, as it will appear in Gemini Terrain.

Model type

Choose between road, tunnel, or tunnel cross-section layer.

Layer type

Specifies whether the rule should export Gemini theoretical layers or VIPS directly (if a road model is based on VIPS).

Layers

Allows you to add one or more layers (vertical) in the model. Whether the layers are exported separately or as a single file will vary depending on the type of export and the equipment receiving the files.

Surface selection

Specifies the horizontal extent if it is a road export.

Equipment

This option allows you to specify which type(s) of machine(s) should receive the exported data for the providers that support this.

Export rules at organization level

Export rules can be saved and reused at the organization level. This means that you can reuse the same export rules within the same organization, so you don't have to create new export rules every time you create a new Gemini Connected project.

Tip

Check Save as template if you want to save the export rule and make it available to the entire organization.
