Importing As-Built Data in Gemini SiteFlow

As-built data is important documentation of work actually performed in the field.

Automatic Synchronization of As-Built Data

Gemini Connected automatically copies files designated as as-built from machine control systems to Gemini Connected. This synchronization follows the process below:

  1. Data is registered as as-built in the machine control system
  2. Files are synchronized to the Gemini Connected platform
  3. The data is downloaded to PCs running Gemini Terrain
  4. Files become available in the activity overview

Synchronization Interval

Synchronization is performed hourly on weekdays by default. This can be adjusted on Gemini Connected web under Machine Control Integrations - Sync Schedule.

Where do I Find the Activity Overview?

Gemini Connected Activity Overview can be found in the Toolset for planning, design and execution.

Filtering Options in the Activity Overview

In the activity overview dialog, you have several filtering options to easily find relevant as-built data:

  • Device Types - Filter based on different types of machines and equipment
  • Show only file types - Limit the view to specific file formats
  • Status - Filter based on whether the file has been imported to an application layer
  • Device - Select specific devices/machines to view data from
  • Vendor Project - Filter based on vendor project

Note

If a file has been imported to an application layer, information about who imported it and to which application layer it was imported will appear in the overview.
