Gemini QuantiFlow - Documenting Quantities

Most registered quantities need to be documented with supporting documentation. In Gemini Terrain, quantity proposals are registered first, then documentation is linked to them. Documentation is connected to the quantity proposals and uploaded via the Document Quantities function, which is available in the toolsets.

When quantity proposals are approved in Validation in the web solution, the quantity with associated documentation is transferred to Gemini ProAdm. Documentation can be attached to a quantity proposal until the quantity is approved in the validation.

Documentation Methods

The Document Quantities function has three methods for assigning documentation to quantity proposals. These are described in detail in the dialog help.

  • Select File:
    Assign existing files to the quantity proposals, e.g., image files, PDF files, larger presentation drawings, etc.

  • Generate Drawing:
    Generate PDF in A4 format of the selected quantity proposals in presentation drawings for longitudinal or cross-sections. Can also be used to generate quick documentation of terrain model drawings in 2D or of a presentation drawing with map section.

  • Generate Mass Report:
    Creates a summary report of the selected quantity proposals

Note

Note that the list of registered quantities can show all registered quantities in this Gemini Connected project, i.e., not just those sent from your open Gemini Terrain project. This way, the function can also be used to get an overview of all registered quantities in the project.
