Using 3D¶
Measured point clouds are located on application layers. To achieve efficient drawing of large triangle networks and large point clouds, a special presentation rule Point Cloud has been created.
This rule must be turned off before we can visualize point clouds in render mode. The presentation rule does not draw the triangles, but only a user-defined number of points in the object.

Knoll Detection¶
We can also easily use the function Extract points along line to find the points that are within the blasting profile (potential knolls). It is most appropriate to place the new point cloud object on a separate application layer with regard to presentation setup and the ability to turn the application layer on/off.

Bolt Visualization¶
We can also visualize bolts in 3D. We must then import the rig's bolt log to an application layer. By using the presentation rule Pipe, we can visualize the bolts in render mode. A separate application layer template Asbuilt_bolter has also been created.
