As-built Water and Sewage Delivery Introduction

Introduction

Various agencies and companies manage water and sewage networks. They have their own surveying instructions for as-built documentation. One challenge is that these are not standardized; for example, different code systems are used:

  • Avinor – SOSI codes
  • Norwegian Public Roads Administration – NVDB codes
  • Municipalities – SOSI codes, Gemini VA codes

In this section, we describe the work of delivering as-built data to municipalities, both those that manage the pipeline network with Gemini VA and other systems.

Data Flow between Gemini VA and Gemini Terrain

With Gemini VA and Gemini Terrain, we have software for both municipalities and contractors, which provides a close and good data flow. We use the same coding in Gemini Terrain as in Gemini VA. This allows all data to be imported directly, without translation.
