SOSI Export

Data on one or more application layers can be exported to SOSI.

Procedure

1. Select the application layer(s) in the list of application layers
2. Right-click and select Export other formats...
3. Click Format… and check that the selected format is SOSI
4. Click Format settings… and set the correct settings
5. Click OK and OK
6. Click Browse...
7. Enter the filename and click Open...
8. Click Export

Settings for NVDB Export

The NVDB template contains export directives. This means that you can only perform the export set up in the export directive, which is configured to export to the correct SOSI version 8.1 and special handling of some properties. The option omits OBJTYPE and converts NVDB_OBJTYPE to OBJTYPE in the SOSI file. Any other SOSI properties other than S_FCODE, KVALITET, and DATAFANGSTDATO are excluded.

Note

You must set the unit and coordinate system/height system manually:

• Coordinate system/height system (if not set in Settings Gemini Terrain... - Project - General)
• Unit 0.01

It doesn't matter if there's anything in the product specification fields as long as the option Add to SOSI header is not checked.
