Layout Drawings

If you need to deliver drawings showing the as-built data, Gemini Terrain has a dedicated solution for producing presentation drawings with map sections and legends. These drawings provide a clear and easily readable documentation of what is included in the SOSI file delivery.

We can use standard sheets for layout drawings, for example with space for legends.

The sheets have predefined placeholders for map sections and legends.

We can see that the map section function has an automatic grid, which works well in most cases. However, if we want to put more emphasis on appearance, we can draw a grid that only covers the area where we have data. This can provide a more attractive drawing.

Tip

We can draw the grid in a separate application layer, for example Grid.aly. Note that we must also add coordinate labels manually.

The grid can be added to or removed from all drawings in the project, and visibility can be toggled in the drawing as needed.
