Summary Report

Using Summary Report will produce a report with total quantities for each contract post. This means that the tendering program that produces measurement certificates must handle what has been completed during the period. Gemini Terrain only reports accumulated quantities that have been completed so far in the project.

Procedure

  1. Select Summary Report... from the toolbar
  2. Check the application layer option
  3. Select the property S_CONTRACTPOST
  4. Click OK to generate the report

Plan Drawing with Legend

Measured quantities can be presented in a clear and informative way using presentation drawings with map sections and legends. We can use standard sheets for plan drawings that have space for legends.

These have predefined placeholders for map sections and legends.

Presentation drawing with inserted map section, legend and automatic grid

The procedure is to update the map sections and possibly the legend at the end of the period. The presentation drawings will then show how much has been completed in total.

Grid

We can see that the map section function has an automatic grid. This works well in most cases. However, if we want to put more emphasis on appearance, we can draw a grid that only covers the area where we have data. This will give a nicer presentation drawing.

Drawn grid in presentation drawing

The grid can be drawn in a separate application layer, for example Grid.aly. Note that we must also add coordinate labels manually. The grid can be added/removed in all drawings in the project, as well as toggling visibility in the drawing when needed.

Info

Presentation drawings are described in more detail in a separate section.
