Creating Cloud Projects¶
Methods for Creating Cloud Projects¶
There are several methods for creating cloud projects stored in Gemini Connected.
Creating an Empty Project from a Template¶
Use the Create... button on the left side of the project menu to create a project. Here you can choose between creating the project from a prj file, project template, or from an existing project. In the next step of the dialog, you select which Gemini Connected project the cloud project should be stored in.
Procedure
- Open the project menu and select Create on the left side of the menu.
- Select the template you want to use and click Next.
- Check Project in Gemini Connected under Location. Select an existing Connected project from the dropdown menu, or choose to create a new one. Enter a Name for the new cloud project (this will also apply to a new Gemini Connected project) and optionally a Project number.

Upload to Gemini Connected¶
The second method for creating cloud projects in Gemini Connected is useful when you already have existing Gemini Terrain projects stored locally that you want to migrate to Gemini Connected. This is done by right-clicking on a locally stored project and selecting Upload to Gemini Connected....
Note
Upload to Gemini Connected... can be used from Recently used projects for projects that are not located in a predefined directory.
