Serial Port Setup

This dialog controls the communication with the field book. Gemini uses these values and not those set in the Windows Control Panel.

Warning

The settings here must be the same as those set on the field book.

The different field books often have suggested parameters that can be used.

Tip

Generally, you can say that:

  • Bits equal to 7 go together with stopbit equal to 2
  • Bits equal to 8 go together with stopbit equal to 1
