Edit Helmert Transformation¶

Use this dialog to edit parameters for a Helmert transformation.

Dialog Elements¶

ID¶

The unique ID of the transformation can consist of letters, numbers, and other characters. The ID cannot be edited if the transformation set has already been created.

From Coordinate System¶

The coordinate system you want to transform from.

To Coordinate System¶

The coordinate system you want to transform to.

Description¶

Enter a description to make it easier to find the correct transformation later.

Reversible¶

Check reversible if you want the transformation to be usable in both directions. For example, a parameter set from NGO III to EUR89 32 can also be used from EUR89 32 to NGO III.

Parameters¶

A0, A1, B0, and B1 are the transformation parameters in a Helmert transformation. These are either already calculated, or you must enter the given values.

Copy¶

Click this button to copy the transformation parameters to the Windows clipboard. You can then paste them into a text editor.

Note

You can also document the parameters by copying the entire dialog to the clipboard. This is done with the Windows function [Alt] + [PrtScn]. You can then paste the entire dialog into, for example, Word.
