Hamm

Use this dialog to export lines in the SFI model to HAMM road roller.

File Format

Each line is exported as two files: *.hgl and *.hdr. The files are in ASCII format and can be read in a text editor.

Exporting Centerline

Do not check Export Layer if you only want to export the centerline. The program uses the naming convention __CL when assigning filenames.

Exporting Other Lines

For other lines, Export Layer must be checked. The program uses the naming convention __<layername> when assigning filenames.

If you only want to include specific lines, you must specify these in the area selection field. The line through the outermost edge of the area (viewed from the centerline) will be exported.

Example

We want three lines: centerline, left, and right shoulder edge.

Area selection: (-2.1), (0), (2.1)

As with other formats, you can control how closely the exported line matches the original by using the options for maximum circular deviation.
