WMS Connection

Use this dialog to connect to a WMS server.

Where to Find the Dialog

On the toolbar, select Application Layer - Create WMS Connection.

Setting Up WMS Connection

Procedure

  1. Enter the URL (path to map server) for the WMS server, and click Fetch.
  2. The program automatically retrieves the coordinate system from Settings Gemini Terrain... - Project - General.
  3. You can choose to make the raster layer Transparent.
  4. The Fetch option provides a list of available layers. You can use the << button to select which layers to display with the application layer.
  5. You can delete individual layers you have transferred, or clear the entire layer list.
