Test of Changes¶
Use this dialog to review which coordinates have changed enough to be recommended for replacement, or if they should retain their previous values.
Where to Find the Dialog¶
On the toolbar, select Surveying - Analysis - Global Test - Test of Changes.
Information About Changes¶
The dialog displays the relevant point and the following parameters:
| Parameter | Description |
|---|---|
| Adjustment | The magnitude of the adjustment, i.e., the difference between the new and previous coordinate value |
| StdDev | Standard deviation of the coordinate value |
| Free | The coordinate is unconstrained |
| Changes in XY and H | The difference between the previous and new coordinate value in plan and elevation. Changes are determined by sign (new - previous) |
| Threshold | Determined based on the probability of error |
Recommendations and Options¶
At the bottom, two different messages may appear:
- The point should retain its coordinate values
- The point should receive new coordinates
If message number 2 appears, you have the following options:
- Lock the point anyway
- Set the point as unknown with new coordinates
- Keep the point as unconstrained
