Manage Contracts

Use this dialog to retrieve and display the list of contracts with contract and additional posts in the Gemini Connected project your cloud project belongs to.

Where do I find the dialog?

On the toolbar, select the Gemini Terrain Settings... - Project - Contracts icon. Check Use contracts and Gemini Connected. The Manage contracts... button is then active.

Overview of contracts and contract posts

The contracts in the project are listed in the Contract dropdown at the top of the dialog. Use this to select which contract you see contract posts and additional work for in the lower part of the dialog. If you have more than one contract in the project, a prefix should be defined for each contract in Gemini Connected web. In Gemini Terrain, this prefix is placed in front of the contract and additional posts, making it easy to see which contract the post belongs to.

Contract posts are listed in the Contract tab, and additional posts in the Additional tab. The various additions and additional posts are identified with an extra prefix, consisting of a two-letter code for the addition type and the addition's unique number. The addition's name also follows.

When you press Manage contracts, the list of contract posts for the Gemini Connected project is loaded, and any changes are loaded. The list is also updated when the project is opened.

The contract posts will be available in dropdown menus for Contract Post Code in mass types, as well as the attributes S_CONTRACTPOST, S_CONTRACTPOST2 etc. in application layers. Available contract posts in application layers depend on geometry type, and in mass types on calculation type or unit conversion.

Filter Posts

All posts that contain a unit will by default be available in both application layers and mass types. By clicking on the light bulbs, you can choose to filter out both main posts and sub-posts from the list, so that there are fewer posts in the code lists. If needed, you can go into the list and turn off/on display of the posts. Data that has already been assigned a contract post will keep this even if the display of the post is turned off.

Light bulb status:

  • Yellow light bulb: All posts in both main post and sub-post are active and will be shown in dropdown menus
  • Gray light bulb: All posts in both main post and sub-post are hidden and will not be shown in dropdown menus
  • Half gray/yellow light bulb: One or more sub-posts are hidden and will not be shown, the others will be shown in dropdown menus

Contract Post Descriptions

By pressing the blue information button, you get a separate window that shows the description for the selected contract post. By pressing the More... button in the window that appears, you can view the post in the web solution for Gemini Connected. This window can also be opened from a mass type's properties dialog or a layer object's properties dialog or window.
