Find Data Outside Area

Use this dialog to find data located outside a defined area. You can define the area for plan view, elevation, or both.

This is especially useful for identifying 3D data that is far below or above the project area, as such data can cause navigation issues.

Where to Find the Dialog

On the toolbox, select Find Data Outside Area...

Using the Dialog

Procedure

  1. Select the Find Data Outside Area function.
  2. Define the area in the dialog.
  3. Click OK. Any findings will be added to the message list. Findings are marked in the lower right corner, and you can open the message list by clicking here.
  4. In the message list, you can, among other things, zoom to the objects.
