Deformation Control

Use this dialog to perform deformation control.

Where to find the dialog?

Right-click in the vertical list field in the terrain model drawing, and select Tools - Deformation Control...

This option is only active for surveying application layers, and the result is a report with graphs showing changes over time.

Prerequisites

  1. Points in the different surveying application layers must have the same point ID.
  2. Objects must have an attribute for date, such as DATAFANGSTDATO (must be of type Date).

Procedure

  1. Select points in the screen (mark the relevant surveying points). If you only select the application layers, all points will be included.
  2. Select Tools - Deformation Control....
  3. Select the field for point ID and date, and check the desired controls.
  4. Click OK, and the Excel report will be generated.

The Excel report requires Power Pivot. Power Pivot is an add-in for Excel that enables advanced data analysis. The add-in is built into some versions of Office, but is not enabled by default.
