Land Surveying: Presentation¶

Use this dialog to specify settings for the presentation of observations in the surveying application layer.

Where to find the dialog?¶

Select the Gemini Terrain Settings... icon, and then select Land Surveying: Presentation under Personal Settings.

Presentation 2D¶

Point symbol size¶

Specify the size of point symbols for observations in the 2D view. The value is specified in meters.

Default value: 10 m

Note

Point symbol size is used in the 2D view when "Scale symbol size to screen" is off. The value is also used in all exports of 2D presentations, for example map excerpts, regardless of whether "Scale symbol size to screen" is on or off.

Pen color for observations¶

Select the color to be used to display observations in the 2D view.

Default value: 1 (Black)

Scale symbol size to screen¶

When this option is enabled, the symbol size is automatically scaled based on the screen display for optimal visibility.

Presentation 3D¶

Point symbol size¶

Specify the size of point symbols for observations in the 3D view. The value is specified in meters.

Default value: 1 m

Pen color for observations¶

Select the color to be used to display observations in the 3D view.

Default value: 9 (Dark Gray)

Simulation mode¶

These settings apply to the display of observations when simulation mode is enabled.

Cylinder radius in 3D¶

Specify the radius of cylinder symbols used in 3D simulation. The value is specified in meters.

Default value: 0.05 m

Pen color for observations¶

Select the color to be used to display observations in simulation mode.

Default value: 3 (Red)

Reset to default¶

Use the Reset to default button to restore all settings to their default values.
