Edit Leveling Observation¶
Use this dialog to edit the values for a leveling observation.
Where can I find the dialog?¶
Right-click in the observation list for leveling observations and select Properties... from the context menu.
From Point¶
Point designation for the point DH starts from. Use the command button on the right to move the observation to another from-point. This can be done by pointing to the new point or entering the point designation.
To Point¶
Point designation for the point DH goes to. Use the command button on the right to move the observation to another to-point. This can be done by pointing to the new point or entering the point designation.
Height Difference¶
Leveled height difference between From Point and To Point.
Distance¶
Distance (in whole meters) between From Point and To Point.
Omit¶
If you want to omit an observation value, click in the Omit field. The value will be temporarily omitted, but by selecting Normal you can restore the original value.
Changed¶
If you want to change a height difference, do so directly in the data field. The change can be temporary or permanent. For a temporary change, click in the Temporarily Changed field and exit the dialog with OK. The original value is also saved, and if you want to restore this value, click in the Normal field.
Standard Deviation¶
Standard deviation of the measured height difference, unit meter. All standard deviations are transferred directly from instrument parameters. If a value already exists for the observation, it is not changed. This overrides the instrument's assumed standard deviation and is used for weighting in the calculation.
OK¶
If you have removed or changed a value and exit the dialog with OK, the change becomes permanent. The exception is Omit and Temporarily Changed, where the original value is always temporarily saved.
