Connect to Point

Use this dialog to merge a point and all its observations with another point.

Where can I find the dialog?

In the horizontal list field for points (Survey tab), right-click and select Tools - Connect to Point...

Example with instructions

Prism 6772 is measured from station S1 and S2. From station S1, the point is entered as 6277 in the viewfinder. When the observations are imported, 6772 and 6277 are at the same location, but as two different points.

1. Right-click on point 6277 in the point list (Survey tab).
2. Select Connect to Point...
3. Connect this to 6772 – either by pointing to 6772 or entering the Point ID.
4. All observations from station S1 are automatically updated to 6772.
