Georeference Model

Use this dialog to georeference (assign location to) imported IFC, DWG, and PDF models.

Where to Find the Dialog

Select a DWG or PDF model in the model list in the vertical list panel, right-click, and choose Georeference Model.

Using the Dialog

This function always updates the object's position. You can also update rotation and scaling.

You can choose from the following tasks:

  • Move the model
  • Move and rotate the model
  • Move, rotate, and scale the model

Procedure

  1. Select the model and choose Georeference Model
  2. Select the task and click OK
  3. Indicate two points in the model (one point for moving only)
  4. Indicate the corresponding points in the map
