Change Drawing Category

Use this dialog to change the drawing category for existing drawings.

Where to Find the Dialog

In the project menu, on the context menu (select a drawing and right-click) for drawings, choose Change Drawing Category.

Using the Dialog

Changing the category does not alter the content of the drawing. This option is typically used for drawings that are not categorized.

You can select categories from the DrawingCategories.ini file when creating new drawings. Using categories can streamline your workflow, for example, if a template file is assigned.

Afterward, you can sort by drawing category. You can also enter free text and sort by it.
