Save as Project Template

Use this dialog to save an existing project as a project template, so you can later create new projects with similar content.

Where to Find the Dialog

On the toolbar, select the icon for Project Menu. Right-click the project you want to save as a template in the project list, and choose Save as Project Template.

Using the Dialog

In the dialog, specify where the project template should be saved and what the template should be named. A separate subfolder with the template name will be created.

You can choose whether to include or exclude the coordinate and elevation system in the template.

Files in the original project that are not relevant for the template will be excluded.
