Settings¶
Use this dialog to define settings for prioritizing layers.
Where do I find the dialog?¶
On the toolbox, select SFI Properties..., go to the Properties tab, and click the Settings... button.
Using the dialog¶
The table displays all physical layers in the SFI model, their categories, and their priority when building theoretical layers.
You can make several changes to the default setup.
Prioritizing within categories¶
For the categories soil, rock, replacement mass, topsoil, and vegetation, you can change the priority within each category.
Example
In this case, there are two layers for soil: one generated from FKB map data and one from surveyed data.
By setting, for example, priority 1 for the surveyed soil layer and priority 2 for the other soil layer, you ensure that construction is based on surveyed data where available.

Example of prioritizing soil layers.
Excluding layers from construction¶
You can also exclude layers from construction.
User-defined layers¶
The categories soil, rock, replacement mass, topsoil, and vegetation can be extended with user-defined layers.
By setting, for example, category Soil and priority 1 for the user-defined layer, you can also build against these layers.
