Predefined Area

Use this dialog to navigate to a predefined area on the map.

Where can I find the dialog?

On the toolbar, select the Navigate to area... icon and go to the Predefined Area tab.

Using the dialog

The dialog displays a list of predefined areas that can be used for quick navigation on the map.

Instructions

  1. Select the desired area from the list.
  2. Click OK to navigate to the area.

Creating new areas

You can create new user-defined areas by clicking the New... button. This opens a dialog where you can define the name and coordinates for the new area.

Tip

Use predefined areas to save time when you often need to navigate to the same locations in the project.
