Setup¶
Use this dialog to set up a spreadsheet for terrain data measured using the forest road method, i.e., with a measuring tape and clinometer.
Where do I find the dialog?¶
In the Import/Export Excel Sheet dialog, click the Setup... button.

Measurement Method¶

| Distances along centerline | Choose whether distances are measured horizontally or on a slope |
| Distances across centerline | Choose whether distances are measured horizontally or on a slope |
Spreadsheet¶
Select which spreadsheet to use. The program includes a template, TverrProfil-Auto.xls, which you can find in the program's Sys folder.
Number of Points¶
Specify the maximum number of points you can have on each side of the cross-section.
Tip
If you are unsure which measurement methods were used, check with the person who performed the survey.
