Excel Sheet¶
Use this dialog to transfer data between the SFI model and a predefined Excel sheet for forest roads.
Where do I find the dialog?¶
In the toolbox, select the SFI Properties... icon, then Import/Export, and finally Excel Sheet.
Using the dialog¶
This dialog allows you to import and export data between the SFI model and Excel sheets, specifically adapted for forest roads.
Procedure
- Click Setup...
Make the necessary settings in the dialog, then click OK. - Click To spreadsheet
This starts Excel with the selected template. The template will be empty if the SFI file does not contain cross-section data. Enter the measurement data in the template. - Click Copy data in the Excel sheet, and return to Gemini Terrain.
- Click From spreadsheet
This imports the data into the SFI file. The data in the Excel sheet will be converted to distance and elevation.
