  2. Starting point for the layer
  3. Rotation for the layer

Procedure

  1. Select the layer in the tunnel contour dialog.
  2. Right-click and select Settings...
  3. Specify the desired settings for the layer.
  4. Click OK to save and exit the settings.

Example: Raised Shoulder with Curb

The example below shows how to use the settings for a raised shoulder (bankett) with curb.

Settings for tunnel layer with curb and shoulder

We use two layers: one for the curb and one for the shoulder. The curb layer should follow the tunnel's rotation, while the shoulder layer should have a fixed slope (minimum 5 ‰) and end at the tunnel wall. The layers are constructed as usual with surfaces.

Layer 101: Curb H

  • Clip against layer: (not set)
  • Start in: Surface in layer with Layer 0: Surface and Pcode: (defined)
  • Rotation: Tunnel rotation

Layer 102: Shoulder H

  • Clip against layer: Theo. 30: Tunnel
  • Start in: Surface in layer with Layer 101: Curb and Pcode: (defined)
  • Rotation: Unrotated

Note

If you want to start the layer, for example, 25 cm from a surface, you must account for this when constructing the surfaces in the layer.

Example of Surface Settings

Start in Surface 2.01

Surface settings: A = Surface, B = Distance, C = Height, D = Radius

Start in Surface 2.01 with 25 cm Offset

Surface settings with offset: A = Surface, B = Distance, C = Height, D = Radius
