Erosion Protection

Use this dialog to define erosion protection. Layer 14: Erosion protection is constructed when the table is defined.

Where can I find the dialog?

In the toolbox, select SFI Properties..., go to the Road Body tab, and open the Side Area table.

Note

The table is designed according to specifications from the Swedish Transport Administration, but is available in all markets.

The figure above shows what the different parameters refer to.

Parameters for erosion protection

Procedure

1. Create a package.
2. Enter profile intervals where the package should apply.
3. Enter values for A and B, see the figure above.
4. Enter height intervals with corresponding a and b values in the height table, see the figure above.
5. Enter parameters for low earth cut.
6. Optionally, check Use height table and enter the minimum height criterion for the table to be used.
7. Click OK to confirm the settings.

Height Table

If the height difference between the vertical curvature and the top of the earth cut is less than the entered value, the layer will not be constructed.
