3D Quantity Type¶
Use this dialog to display quantity types in the SFI model in 3D.
Where can I find the dialog?¶
On the Planning, Design, and Execution toolbox in the terrain model drawing, select the 3D Quantity Type... icon.
The 3D Quantity Type option is grayed out in 2D.
You can insert the function multiple times in the same drawing. Each insertion creates an entry for 3DQuantityType in the command file.
Quantities in an SFI model are calculated using the cross-section method. In the cross-section editing window, you see the raw quantities, such as area.

The raw quantities multiplied by 1/2 profile distance forward and 1/2 profile distance backward give the calculated amount, such as volume. You can display these quantities in 3D with the command.
