Coordinate System¶

Use this dialog to view more information about distance measurements. This tab is only active if a coordinate system is defined in the project.

Where can I find the dialog?¶

In the context menu of the terrain model drawing, select Measure between two points...

Latitude and Longitude¶

The fields display latitude and longitude in decimal degrees. Geographic positions with latitude and longitude can be entered in different formats (d = degrees, m = minutes, s = seconds):

Geographic: dd° mm' ss"
Decimal degrees: dd.ddddd°

Conversion to Decimal Degrees¶

From geographic (dd° mm' ss"): dd.dddd° = dd + mm/60 + ss/3600
From decimal degrees (dd° mm.mmm'): dd.dddd° = dd + mm.mmm/60
