Automatic Topology Cleanup

Use this dialog to perform automatic topology cleanup of lines in an application layer.

Where do I find the dialog?

In the context menu of the terrain model drawing, select Tools - Automatic Topology Cleanup...

Using the dialog

The dialog contains five processes that can be run on the selected lines:

  1. Remove loops
  2. Split lines at intersections and connect loose ends (XY)
  3. Connect elevations for endpoints (Z)
  4. Remove duplicate lines
  5. Join lines between node points

The program runs the processes in this order. You must select multiple lines. All objects that are not lines in the active layer are removed from the selection. The program will display an error if fewer than two lines remain in the selection.

Procedure

  1. Select lines in the active layer
  2. Check which processes you want to perform
  3. Click OK to run the topology cleanup
  4. The program reports in a dialog how many operations were performed
