Create Text

Use this dialog to create or edit text objects in an application layer.

Where can I find the dialog?

In the toolbox of the terrain model drawing, select Create Text...

How to Add Text?

Procedure

1. Select the Create Text function in the application layer from the toolbox.
2. Optionally, enter values for the properties.
3. Enter the desired text in the text field.
4. Click OK, and place the text on the screen (point and click the left mouse button).
5. Insert the text multiple times if desired (press [Backspace] to change the text).
6. Press [Esc] to finish adding text.

How to Move a Text Object?

When you select a text in an application layer, a handle appears at the bottom left. Drag this to move the text around the screen. Alternatively, right-click and select Move Object ([Ctrl] + [M]).

How to Change the Presentation for the Point?

The presentation is linked to a property, usually the theme code. You set up the presentation rules in the property dialog for the application layer under the Presentation... tab.
