Line and Polygon Properties¶
Use this dialog to view key information for line and polygon objects in the application layer.
Where can I find the dialog?¶
In the toolbox of the terrain model drawing, select Create Line... or Create Polygon..., then the Properties tab.
Contour Types for Polygon Objects¶
For polygon objects, you can set the following contour types:
- Normal
- Boundary contour
- Hole contour
- Boundary contour undefined
When Do You Use Boundary Contour?¶
A boundary contour is used to limit the calculation of the terrain grid.

When Do You Use Hole Contour?¶
A hole contour is used, for example, for lakes to clip away the terrain grid.

When Do You Use Boundary Contour Undefined?¶
This is used, for example, when you want to delimit exposed rock. This is described in more detail in the dialog help for calculating strata.
