Convert Arc to 3D Polyline

Use this dialog to convert arcs to 3D polylines. You can specify the value for the sagitta (deviation).

In the context menu in the terrain model drawing, select Tools - Convert Arc to 3D Polyline...

Using the Dialog

This function is useful when delivering data to NVDB and the cadastre, where it is no longer permitted to use radii to describe a line alignment.

For example, new boundaries in curves must be registered as boundary points with straight lines between them. Therefore, enough boundary points must be established so that the determination of the boundary follows the curve as given in the zoning plan or similar basis.

With the value in the Max. Circle Deviation XY criterion, you determine the deviation (sagitta) between the arc and the straight line.
