Back and Lift

Use this dialog to create a back/lift report for geometric control of railway lines.

Geometric control of railway lines in Sweden is performed using a method called "Bax och lyft." This involves checking measured points in plan and elevation against a theoretical railway line (centerline in an SFI model). The report must be presented in a standardized format and is used in all railway projects in Sweden.

Where to Find the Dialog

Right-click in the horizontal list field, and select Geometric Control - Back and Lift...

Using the Dialog

Procedure

  1. Select the measured points in the point list.
  2. Choose Geometric Control - Back and Lift with the right mouse button.
  3. Select the SFI model.
  4. Enter tolerances.
  5. Click OK to generate the report.
