Export to GML

Use this dialog to export data from an application layer in Gemini Terrain to the GML format.

Where can I find the dialog?

Right-click the application layer, and select GML - Export to GML...

Options

Only application layers with a valid XSD schema can be exported.

To Coordinate System / To Height System

This field displays the coordinate system and height system defined for the project. You can change the coordinate system or height system if you want to transform the data during export. In this case, the program will open the dialog for transformation between different coordinate or height systems. Data can only be transformed if a transformation formula exists.

You can read more about transformations in the user documentation.

Include Attachments

With this option, all attachments linked to the objects (point, line, polygon) will also be included. During export, a subfolder named Attachments is created where all attachments are stored.

When exporting with attachments, the folder where you create the file must be empty. This means you must create a separate folder for each export when including attachments.

This requirement is natural, as the Attachments subfolder should only contain attachments belonging to the exported file. It also makes it easy to package the GML file and attachments into a single delivery file.
