Manhole Cover Presentation

Use this dialog to define a manhole cover figure for points in the application layer.

Available Options

The manhole cover can be presented as:

  • Solid cover
  • Cover with dome grate
  • Cover with grate

The top of the manhole cover is placed at the coordinates of the point object.

A* = Manhole cover thickness, B* = Top height of manhole cover (height from point object)

Settings

The size of the cover is determined by diameter and thickness. Values can be entered directly or retrieved from attributes in the application layer.

There is also a dedicated presentation rule for manholes. In this rule, you can set an offset corresponding to the manhole cover thickness so that the manhole and the manhole cover are not drawn on top of each other.

Tip

The automation for retrieving values from the application layer applies to all fields. You can also select the property using the ellipsis button instead of entering it manually. By using the ellipsis button, you can choose from available attributes in the application layer, and the special character is automatically added before and after.
