Create/Update NVDB As Built Application Layer

Use this dialog to create new NVDB application layers or update existing NVDB application layers for as built data (data to be delivered to Datafangst).

Where do I find the dialog?

Right-click in the vertical list field and select Create/Update NVDB as built application layer... under the NVDB menu.

Using the dialog

The dialog is divided into two sections. The left list shows all object types in the NVDB database, while the right list displays application layers to be created, as well as existing application layers in the project (marked with *). Note that application layers in subfolders are also listed here.

You can work with multiple NVDB contracts, but an application layer can only be linked to one contract.

It is also possible to specify a subfolder (target folder under the project folder) for the application layer. This can be useful for keeping the project root organized.

Warning

You must be connected to the internet, as road objects and their information are retrieved via the NVDB REST API.
