Insert Map Excerpt

Use this dialog to insert a map excerpt created in plan view into a presentation drawing.

Where do I find the dialog?

On the toolbar in presentation drawing, select the icon Insert map excerpt...

Warning

The map excerpt must be inserted in the presentation drawing right after it is created. Information about which map excerpt (vector file) was created disappears when we exit the program.

Map excerpt settings

We can choose what we want to include in the map excerpt:

1. Grid (10 cm on plot)
2. Coordinate annotation
3. North arrow (4 different types)

You can get a new position for the north arrow by clicking the left mouse button in the map.

Tip

If you move the frame in plan view, it is sufficient to create the map excerpt (vector file) again. The presentation drawing has a connection to the vector file so that it is updated immediately.
