Insert Longitudinal Profile¶
Use this dialog to insert a longitudinal profile on a sheet.
Where do I find the dialog?¶
On the toolbox in presentation drawing, select the icon Insert longitudinal profile...
Height at origin specifies the start value for the height axis in the longitudinal profile window. The value can be changed to raise or lower the longitudinal profile in the window if the proposed value fits poorly.
Profile distance tells the program how often it should print out the terrain height. This assumes that a placeholder for this is defined in the sheet. Standard sheets use the field TERRAIN H.
Example of height placement in longitudinal profile
- Height at origin: 40
- Start profile: 0
- Profile distance: 10

End profile is the last profile number to be drawn in the longitudinal profile window. By setting 0, the program draws the profile as far as it has been generated.
