Model Type

Use this dialog to define the drawing's model type.

In Gemini Terrain we work in a drawing/model (*.bim).

Description

If the drawing is a figure that we want to use in the presentation rules for application layers, we must enter a description with prefix "@", for example @Demo figure.

All figures in the User folder with @ in the description will be listed in the presentation rules for figures.

Model type

You can choose between several types.

The most commonly used are:

  • Terrain model
  • Presentation drawing

Model type is a property that among other things tells the program which menu set to use.

Incorrectly selected model type can later be changed under the Explorer tab. Select the model, for example Demo4001, right-click and select Properties.
